Over 80 Abducted Katsina State Students Rescued

  • It was earlier another dark day for Katsina state before the sky later became clear
  • Various news media outlets had reported how some students of an Islamic school in Mahuta village of Katsina state were abducted by unknown armed bandits

The good news now is that the over 80 abducted students have all been rescued.

According to HumAngle_ (@HumAngle_) on its Twitter handle, it reported that “84 students of an Islamic school abducted last night in Mahuta, a village in Katsina State’s Dandume LGA, have been rescued by the community vigilante group with support from the police after a fierce gun battle. Twelve cows rustled by the gunmen were also recovered.”

It was just a few days ago that over 300 students of Government Science Secondary School, Kankara were released by their abductors.
