Again, Over 1,000 New Cases Of COVID-19 Reported In Nigeria

  • For the second consecutive day, Nigeria has recorded over 1,000 new daily cases of COVID-19
  • According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), a total of 1,074 new cases of coronavirus disease were reported on Friday, January 1, 2021

COVID-19 cases have continued to soar in Africa’s largest economy as over 88,000 persons have been infected since Nigeria reported its first case early last year.

  • Akwa Ibom-3

  • Osun-2

So far, 88,587 confirmed total cases: 74,373 persons discharged and 1,294 deaths recorded.
