Athletic Bilbao, also known as Athletic Club are the giant killers in this season’s Spanish Super Cup as they defeated the two biggest clubs in Spain (Real Madrid in Semi final and then Barcelona in final) to win the tournament.

Barca captain, Messi failed to find the back of the net and was frustrated by the Athletic Club defenders who did not give him a breathing space.

Frenchman and Barcelona striker, Antoine Griezmann scored both goals for his side, while De Marcos, Villalibre and Williams scored for Athletic Bilbao.

The referee sent Messi off following a reckless tackle.
