Over 1,400 New COVID-19 Cases Reported For January 17 In Nigeria As Schools Resume Today

  • A total of 1,444 new cases of coronavirus disease were reported by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) last night
  • The new cases for Lagos state were staggering as 901 new daily cases were reported for The Centre of Excellence

Anambra had two new cases, while Kebbi had three, with a total of 21 states reporting new COVID-19 cases.

The NCDC has advised all schools to ensure COVID-19 protocols are enforced upon resumption.
