- On Tuesday, January 19, no fewer than 1,301 persons were reported to have tested positive for COVID-19 in Nigeria
Borno and Nasarawa each reported one case of new infections as Lagos and Federal Capital Territory (FCT) had 551 and 209 new cases respectively.

Nigerians have continued to be urged to ensure they follow all COVID-19 protocols like wearing of facemask, frequency hand washing and maintaining social distance.
