Details of the meeting were revealed to newsmen after both Buhari and Talon had a closed door session, which focused mainly on the reopening of the border.
President Patrice Talon of Republic of Benin visited President @MBuhari today at the State House. The visiting President disclosed that he was in Nigeria to show gratitude to President Buhari for the robust leadership he displays in Nigeria and Africa.
“Good neighbourliness is very important in our lives. The survival of your neighbour is also your own, and we will continue to work with our neighbours in the light of this understanding,” President Buhari said, during the meeting between the two Heads of State.
