President Buhari, Saraki, Others Mourn Death Of Former IGP, Gambo Jimeta

  • A former Inspector General of Police (IGP) between 1986 and 1989, Gambo Jimeta is dead

For President Buhari, he stated that the deceased was a true Nigerian elder statesman.

The immediate former Senate president, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki was among the well-known politicians who mourned late Gambo Jimeta.

“My prayers are with the family of former IG of Police, Muhammadu Gambo Jimeta, who passed away yesterday. His courage and unwavering patriotism will be dearly missed.
