- Friday is known as ‘Yaomul Jumu’ah’ or simply ‘Jumu’ah’ by many Muslims in Islam
- Yaomul Jumu’ah is the mist significant day of the week for all Muslims who follow the teachings in the Glorious Qur’an and ways of life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon his noble soul)
One of the reasons why Jumu’ah is important in Islam is because of the weekly Friday prayer observed by Muslims in Central Mosques.

In addition, Prophet Muhammad urged all Muslims to recite Chapter 18 of the Glorious Qur’an from beginning to the end. Chapter 18 is known as Suuratul Kahf.
Prophet Muhammad in one of his sayings made it known that there will be a divine illumination by Allaah on every Muslim who recites Suuratul Kahf from one Friday to the other.
Any Muslim who can not recite the Glorious Qur’an in Arabic language can recite Suuratul Kahf in the language suitable for him or her every Friday before sunset.
