No Fewer Than 864 Persons Contract Coronavirus On Thursday

  • Twenty three states and the Federal Capital Territory had new cases of coronavirus disease on Thursday, January 28
  • A total of 864 persons were said to have tested positive for COVID-19, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC)

For the first time in a while, Lagos state, the epicentre of COVID-19 in Nigeria had no new daily case on Thursday.

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) had the highest new cases yesterday at 129, while Ekiti had fewest numbers of people contracting COVID-19 at two.
