Alisson Becker, Liverpool’s goalkeeper was one of the contributing factors as some poor decisions by him gave away two of the goals scored by The Cityzens.
Ilkay Gundogan put The Cityzens ahead after failing to covert from the spot kick. Mohamed Salah equalised for The Reds via a penalty kick.
Gundogan again scored another goal to put Manchester City 2-1 ahead before Raheem Sterling and Phil Foden scored the third and fourth goals respectively for Guardiola’s side to end the match 4-1 and put The Cityzens as the top contender for Premier League crown.
As things are right now, Man City have the EPL to lose as they sit comfortably on top of the Premier League Table with 50 points, while second placed team and neighbours, Manchester United have 45 points.
