3.92 Million COVID-19 Vaccine Doses Arrive Nigeria As NCDC Reports 360 New Cases For March 1

World Health Organisation (WHO) African Region writes that “3.92 million #COVID19 vaccine doses from #COVAX have just arrived in Abuja, Nigeria.

“This first COVID-19 vaccine shipment to Africa’s most populous nation marks a huge step towards #VaccinEquity. Congratulations #Nigeria!”

NCDC stated that “368 days after Nigeria detected her first case, we are pleased to receive our 1st shipment of 4million doses of #COVID19Vaccine.

“We are grateful to the #COVAX facility for this timely intervention.”

On Monday, March 1, the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reported 360 new COVID-19 cases
