- The English Premier League has officially named the first two Inductees into the English Premier League Hall of Fame
- Retired football legends in the persons of Frenchman, Thierry Henry and Englishman, Alan Shearer are the first two Inductees to be announced today
Thierry Henry, played for Arsenal during his footballing career and cemented his name as one of the greatest strikers in world football.
Alan Shearer, played for Blackburn Rovers and Newcastle United, where he banged in goals for fun, and thereafter went on to become the all-time highest goalscorer in the history of English Premier League.
Both Thierry Henry and Alan Shearer paid their dues when they played in the Premier League and will forever be remembered.
A good number of football fans and pundits are okay with the choice of the first two Inductees into the English Premier League Hall of Fame.
