- Ramadan will be 24 after sunset today and Ramadan Daily Digest has an interesting topic or title on what Almighty Allaah said about The Glorious Qur’an in The Glorious Qur’an
- This article is just to point out some Aayaat (verses) that Allaah mentioned the name of the Glorious Qur’an as well as other names He, Allaah called the Glorious Qur’an
Knowing about what the Glorious Qur’an stands for is beyond reciting it in a sonorous voice and translating it from Arabic language to our mother’s tongue or to English language
In Suuratul Baqara, Ayah 2, that is chapter 2, verse 2 of the Glorious Qur’an, Allaah called the Glorious Qur’an ‘The Book’ that has no iota of doubt in it as well as being a Guide to those who are God conscious.
Going into another chapter of the Glorious Qur’an, Allaah outrightly mentioned the word ‘Qur’an’ to confirm the name of His Book. In Suuratu Yaseen, Ayah 2 (chapter 36, verse 2) of the Glorious Qur’an, Allaah said that “by the Glorious Qur’an full of wisdom (laws, evidences, historical accounts, proofs).”
More so, Allaah mentioned the Glorious Qur’an with the pronoun ‘it’ in some of its verses. In he second Ayah (verse 2) of Suuratu Dukhaan (chapter 44) and first Ayah (verse 1) of Suuratul Qadr (chapter 97) for instance, Allaah mentioned the Glorious Qur’an with the pronoun it.
There are so many verses of the Glorious Qur’an that Allaah talked about so many benefits His Book is for mankind.
In conclusion, there are verses in Suuratul Israa’il, Suuratul Hashr, Suuratu Nahl, and so many chapters of Allaah’s Book, where the healing powers of the Glorious Qur’an are mentioned. Muslims should hold the Glorious Qur’an in high esteem in order to communicate better with their Creator, Allaah.
