Anyone who sincerely follows all the etiquettes of Ramadan fasting would know that Ramadan fasting is more than abstaining from eating, drinking and lawful intercourse from fajr period till sunset. Ramadan fasting also entails perseverance, dedication, discipline and maintaining high level of spiritual connection with Almighty Allaah.

Muslims should congratulate themselves for witnessing a successful Ramadan fasting despite the global challenges of coronavirus disease pandemic and insecurity in many parts of the world.

Ramadan for this year is going and will come next year again. It is high time all true believing Muslims reflected on their way of life and ensure that they continue to enjoin compassion among mankind and eschew all forms of fiendish acts when Ramadan fasting is finally over.

EidMubarak or call it Small Sallah or call its real name Eid-ul-Fitr will be tomorrow, Wednesday, May 12 if the moon is sighted tonight. However if the moon is not sighted tonight, and Ramadan is 30 days, Eid-ul-Fitr will be on Thursday, May 13.
