One of the vital talking points about this year’s Eid celebration is the hike in the prices of ram as well as major foodstuff.

Nigerians, who are planning to buy rams are groaning under the exorbitant amount being placed on rams, cattle and even goats.

It should be noted that some Muslims who slaughtered rams last year Eid-ul-Adha period may not be able to do so this year because of the costly prices of rams.

Some persons have suggested that the way out of high prices of rams is for the government to subsidise ram prices as well as selling rams to interested Muslims at a friendly amount during EidMubarak period.
